How to Set Up Your Glee Club
Do you regularly get the urge to jump up from your sofa and bust some moves along with New Directions? You're not alone! Glee clubs have been springing up across the UK faster than you can say 'jazz hands' since the show first hit the airways.
To start your own glee club just follow these simple steps:
- Find at least 2 group members to join you - if you don't know anyone try asking other Glee fans like those on our Facebook page
- Find a rehearsal space - a room at a local community centre, a large living room or even an empty office will do
- Watch the Glee tutorial - provided by the cast of Wicked (to be uploaded in early April)
- Practise, Practise, Practise!
- Once you have this one perfected, why not try copying other routines from your favourite episodes, or introduce some of your own favourite songs? Listen to the Glee Sony soundtrack for some inspiration.
- Finally upload a video of your best performance to our youtube group for a chance to perform on London's West End!
Want to join a glee club, but don't want to start your own? Click on the 'search for a club near you' tab at the top of the page to find clubs that are already up and running, and start warming up those vocal chords.
